Principal team members involved in TOP-REF

Dr Fernando Boto is a Computer Scientist since 2001 from the University of the Basque Country (UPV). In July 2010 he started his activity in Tecnalia Research and Innovation where he is developing his interest in Artificial Intelligence with advanced applications for railroad, energy, industrial… sectors. He has published several scientific papers, all in international congresses.

Alberto Diez Oliván: Obtained a Computer Science Engineering degree at Universidad del País Vasco (UPV–EHU) in 2006 and also holds a Master of Science in Computer Sciences and Artificial Intelligence by the same University, degree that lets him perform software development tasks in different programming environments. Nowadays, he is a PhD student in the UPV-EHU, concretely in the Computer Sciences and Artificial Intelligence department, being his thesis related to Artificial Intelligence world.. His main research activities focus the main areas of Artificial Intelligence, Data Mining, Machine Learning and Ambient Intelligence. In fact, he has been involved in intelligent software development tasks in many important projects, both at European level (InLife-InAmI, MANUVAR) and with industrial customers, targeting important sectors such as Renewables Energy, Railway and Machine Tool.

Zigor Lizuain received his B.Sc. degree in Industrial Electronics by Universidad Politecnica Alcala de Henares in 2000. He has worked as specialist in Configuration Standards, Safety Systems and Project Management in continuous processes for oil and gas, petrochemical and food industry sectors. He is working in Tecnalia since 2010 as Project Manager. He collaborates as professor for the ISA/CSFR Master on control and instrumentation.
